The best news I've heard all day. Being fit through the boxing must have helped with the recovery. It's a very tough thing to go through and a vile disease. Good luck for 13th June.

Wow, that puts everything into context. Lots of chatter and "grief" with these lumps of Italian metal we choose to drive and they all come to nowt in comparison to your fantastic post. Absolutely delighted for you Lee.

I could only imagine how great you must feel...My wife had leukemia in 2000 and after she had got past 5 years and beat it the feeling was just one that we both have never experienced before............You kicked it's butt...

A good friend of mine had stage 4, aggressive and widespread Hodgkins Lymphoma. As you say very rare.
They gave her a 5% chance of survival. This was 5 years ago. She's been clear for the last two after loads of chemo and God knows what treatment.

Being fit and healthy obviously helped, as I took up boxing last September I have a fair idea of some of the training you do. To go back to that after cancer. Fair play to you mate. Take a strong will and a lot of self determination.
