As I flit a lot between UK and Ireland, and have an iPhone ie - no dual sim facility apart from cases etc all of which I've tried, no likey.
So my question is;
Does anyone know if it's possible to use a Nono-standard sim holder without risk of it falling to out inside the same hole in the console?
Another
I have an ASDA mobile standard sim in the car, only £5 a month and works in IRL, any way of editing the phonebook on it externally instead of the knobs and buttons on the NIT? Tedious!
I actually like the in-built phone, it's excellent as a phone/SMS device and all integrated, I find with BT adapters etc they tend to stamp all over each other, I once had the built in NAV, loudlink SD and radio all gassing at once...
I do like the loudlink, but it's a fiddle to select tunes and the BT is flakey sometimes, thinking about putting the stock changer back, like I ending up doing with the loudlink on my Alfa 166...
The built in NAV is pretty pants of course, but I like the you can have it replicated on the little display on the instrument panel in simple format, I like that, all I want to know is when to turn left or right...
I have a Navdy too still in it's box, I tried it - it's cool but because I wear glasses when driving I find it slightly out of focus as it's directly in my eye-line when driving and the road/navdy depth of field affects me eyes.
So I'm thinking of going all standard and iPhone for camera alerts only.....
