Just to clarify in case anyone doesn't know Brooklands - the banked track is a remnant: you can park there but can't lap on it. The MB World facility next door has a circuit, but is separate and away from the main Brooklands Museum (just across the road).

Phil, Monday is the pre-booking deadline. I booked yesterday - only GBP 5.50 for a child. I reckoned that for that if for some reason he elects not to come then it's still better than queuing!
