I remember that, and from memory it was not this car either …… o_O

I think previously there was a Countach that crashed on the test hill
Yes, it wasn't his, insurance wouldn't cover it either. Imagine having a prang like that, asking the insurance to carry out repairs only for them to show your countless social media posts of the accident.

Poor bloke. The one in the Countach? I seem to remember seeing him take off at the brow of the hill climb. I feel sorry for him, but I also remember that on the few occasions I have driven on a track of any sort, I walked it or drove it slowly beforehand, just to check for hazards, run off spaces and the like...

The Gallardo was it, I think? Maybe had the twin turbo conversion, and he did exactly what the marshall had said to not do: do not boot it on the skid pan, in the wet, when you're not pointing forwards. Most unfortunate.
Yes it was this…..saw it firsthand

There's a slight bump as the skid pan joins the track which unsettles the car...

That was exactly what he did

There's always room!

Basically all Maseratis are sent to an area and it's a case of first come first served. then they have areas for overspill of certain marques.
Careful. It’s not like that this year, the area we have been allocated is bigger but I have been guaranteed x amount from the forum and any stragglers that just own a Maserati will park there only if there is room
