Not really a sweet toothed person but jam after cream for practical reasons.

The next question:

Camembert - baked or not?

I'll kick off with baked with garlic and rosemary spiked in....

It depends. Baked as a starter, not baked in the cheese course :)

4) The electorate
Every 4 or 5 years a General Election to elect MP's that are supposed to represent the wishes of the electorate. Not a Euro MP

Ahh yes that age old debate of Camembert........Now that is a food item where you can really have your "cake and eat it"... Baked or not, some like it and some don't but it's real!:p:p:D:D:D

So Wattie, what would you like to see happen, who would you like to make the decisions about the future after we leave...

1) We wanted sovereignty and to take back control to make our own decisions...
2) We voted and we are leaving
3) Parliament for the last two and a half years is and has been demonstrating democracy, sovereignty and taking back control.
4) So what is the issue? Who makes the decision for what is best for the national interest or the Country? Debate in Parliament? Business? The Queen? Who?
5) What would you like to see happen?

Surely the issue for "some" for not being happy about Brexit is that it is not going their way or how they envisaged "it".. What is "it"? What would you want or like to see...As I said, no point blaming remainers, the E.U or anyone else or each other........What I think you'll find is that there are different visions for Brexit amongst Leave MP's and they first need to unite and give us their vision for the "will of the people who voted for it"....The problem is they don't agree amongst themselves!

P.S Still love you Wattie no matter what.

P.S.S Scone, Clotted Cream then Strawberry Jam with a filtered coffee!!!:D:p:D:p
No hard feelings either, this is a civilised discussion.
I agree with you on 1 and 2....we should be leaving.....
.apparently some mp’s are also negotiating not too and
further we aren’t under Mays deal (cos we can’t unless they let us)
or if no deal is cancelled,

How is that leaving unless we grow some, say fu and walk away.

3, No. and I refer to my previous posts. Europe never has and never will negotiate a favourable leaving position....it’s not interested in anything other than its control of matters. Further the Uk position from day 1 was naive......remainers should never be involved in exit discussions. We were never going to get a deal to leave.....it might have encouraged others!!!!!,
Would non smokers negotiate smoking rights?
4 .FFS, The issue has already been voted on and decided, the public was asked to vote, did so, and mp’s stood and elected to carry it out. Simple. That’s the ******* issue. Full stop.
We should be leaving.
No hindsight, no they lied, we lied.......politicians ******* always lie and they’re about to do it again.
It was leave or stay Not leave subject to Europe letting us leave with a deal....they were never going to.
5. Simple, we give Europe the finger ( most of it is bankrupt and without democratic voting rights (as we know...although I fear we are about to become serfs too) we take an initial hit on the chin and start to believe in the Uk and it’s ability to influence and trade with the world including Europe on our own terms, through the respect of democracy and without being scaremongered into submission.
It’s not what I want- it’s what 17.8 m voted for.....there were no caveats!

That’s all valid Wattie, how we leave is just as important as leaving for those who wanted it, so if as you say we leave, surely (so as to not to undermine ourselves on the international stage) we do it democratically and in a dignified way no? If as you say we stick two fingers to the EU how does that make us look to those who may want to trade with us...won’t we lose credibility and influence? It’s all good and gravy....No one else I know is saying we don’t believe in our country?;)

French you say.... Well we are known on here for the love of things Greek so try the following:

Get some Halloumi cheese, cut it across into 1/2" x 1/2" strips and wrap them in bacon and BBQ, grill or oven bake for food heaven!

Then thank my daughter for creating this masterpiece for Christmas eve just gone!

OK, my opinion for those that care

Jam first, then cream no idea why but that is it.

Tea is milk first but there is logic to this. If you pour milk into a cup of hot tea the first drops of milk heat up really quickly and change the taste. Pouring hot tea into cold milk doesn't have the same impact.
