I'm going to go ahead and post this here as well as the other festival Italia thread if that's okay

It is all clips taken today merged together, most of them from Sara's phone, it flows quite well worth a watch:

Still buzzing from today, the inside faces of my front discs are knackered, the pads got stuck in the sliders on the A3 on the fronts coming back causing an awful lot of noise, luckily we were close tot the Burpham exit so slowed down and pulled off, hit the brakes hard with no one around us and the pads freed themselves; we continued home through Guildford. I can take the wheels off next weekend and give the calipers and clean out and copper slip, should help until the forum discs arrive.

You got some wood from a stranger Beau ? No one told me it was that sort of event ;P

Just got home too, I have a head ache from all the noise !

Really good day :) my car went there and back fine, apart from I did actually get stuck on a road, I couldn't go forwards or backwards, exhaust was stuck, so I had to ask someone to help and they got me some wood, amazing how helpful the public are when your driving a nice car haha

Took hundreds of photos, there was just so much to see around the track, and some superb close racing on it. Unlike Silverstone, you can really get close to the action without all the fencing spoiling the view - :

Good to say hello to the ones I did, well done everyone, great turnout, I'd imagine it helps Sportsmaserati to be taken seriously as a big group if ever anyone wants loads of Massers at an event, they know where to go!
If I know I'm going to be free I'll join in more and help next time!

I've not been on the site for a while since I sold my Merak last year. It was a great event - I was racing my Sprint Speciale (in the last photo). Looks like you were in a great position - were you on the inside of Druids?

Nice! Yes, taken from the inside of Druids - great place to get close to the cars without fencing in the way.

Great photo - thank you!

I'm pretty sure I was the slowest (and oldest) car racing, but as mine was the only car driven to the circuit and back home afterwards I should ask them if there's a prize for the fastest road car of the day!
