Hi guys, thought I'd introduce myself. Ive just bought a Maserati Gransport to add to my other Italian cars (Ferrari 360 & Lamborghini Gallardo). Still learning the quirks of this car and have a few questions to ask, so please forgive a newbie if these are dumb questions:
Firstly, does the accelerator feel like an on/off switch on all these cars? First few millimetres of travel dont seem to do much at all and then suddenly the taps seem to open up and she thunders off like a rocket. The throttle pedal doesnt seem to have much progression and it's very tricky to take off smoothly. Is this normal?
Secondly the headlight (low beam) on the driver's side is blown. I've got a new one, but I'm trying to work out whether the old one just pulls out, or whether you've got to give it a quarter turn (I've taken the cap off and unplugged the wires). I'd rather not break it in the process of getting it out, so if someone can give me a simple direction on this I'd much appreciate it.
So anyways, to introduce myself, I'm Derek, I live in Brisbane, Australia, this is my first Maser and it joins my Ferrari, Lambo, Lotus Elise and TVR Tamora.
I look forward to hearing from someone helpful
