Boot opening / alarm

Alarm goes off when I open the boot using the dedicated fob button when the car is locked - any ideas (4.7 GT, 2009)?

Does the same on my 2016 Stradale and also sets off the tracker monitoring service......

Mine has done it a couple of times. Dunno why. Never worried about it.

Need to unlock the car and then it won't go off....

All of the above. I couldn't find how to fix it - there's an option in one of the menus which had something about the way the boot unlocks but it didn't seem to make any difference. I just unlock the whole car now.

Seems something of a common problem!

Hmmm, one of the quirks of ownership I suspect .

On the plus side the selling dealer has just fitted new discs and pads all round (££££) and fixed a oil leak fro free and without question .

Did the dealer do the EPB shoes as well as they are quite fragile?

I think the menu option keeps the boot locked when you unlock the car (i.e. you need to use the dash button or the fob button to unlatch the boot)

Mine's going through a phase of only opening with the fob or the button on the dash, regardless of how I set it with the menu. A battery reset will most likely do the trick.

Check the rubber cover on the boot lid button. If it gets pressed in and stuck, it'll not work.

They checked that and it was fine. Brakes are so much better!
