Anyone got one? It’s got the 3l twin turbo engine, M this and that, and I was thinking of running one for quite a while.

A 140, 340 or 440 then yes. A 540? Not for me. A good motor that's easy to tune, but I reckon the 5 body is a bit big.

The B58 is a terrific engine.
Whenever I lift the bonnet on my M140i I giggle to myself, it's mad in such a small bodyshell.
It does produce well over 300BHP in any tune, with loads of torque from almost nothing, so really should be 'adequate' in anything really.

When I got my 3 series, the 5's boot was the difference in length. The 3 series is big enough to carry people, but small enough to be agile ish. The 5 is more management luxobarge.

Interestingly, I think I read this engine is good for E30. Sweden reckons it might make this a standard by 2030, even though they can’t mass produce it yet.

Don't get me wrong, the electonics in a 5 can be awesome but, unless it's an M5, too stodgy to be a decent driver's car.

E, f*cking, 30? That's just Greta's puppetmasters going for gold.
