Hmmmm, any 2008 car will have been sitting around idle in some compound for well over a year as all GS production stopped in late 2006/very early 2007 when production of the Turismo started ,

So its really a 2006 but registered in 08!
I dont like that.....

I remember nissan had a GTR made in 2010 but sold it sep 2011 in the dealership....

A car sitting around for 15moths and being thrashed whenever it was taken for a test drive

Don't see one up for sale then two at once.....Is this the one that was for sale at Meridien a few months ago that did not have a full history...2008 car whihc is rare....They don't mention history so could be.

Yep. Unique in the UK for that year/colour, so must be. What a superb looking thing! Looks very tidy too.

Not uncommon. When I was looking in Spring last year, I saw an unregistered 4.2 GranTurismo that was 18 months old. That was half the warranty gone given the bizarre fact that Maserati start warranties when cars are delivered to the dealer.

Thats no on, is it? Car is brand new, unregisterd, but comes with 18m warranty becasue its been sat? Very poor.

I have noticed several GTSs which are showing as new and have been around for a very long time. Sounds like the warranty is a give away.

Back on to this yellow one....just been looking at it again. I'm thinking this is one of those "OK, I'll sell the car, love" prices. A couple of weeks later, "well love, I tried....best keep it then " :)

Stunning car and IMO worth the wedge to the right man.

All depends Woody...If its the one that Meridien had for sale around 3/4 months ago they wanted 39k for it....But because it had 10k on the clock it had not been serviced for a long period....Now thats OK with the miles but as soon as you put miles on it and it gets two 40k and then you try and sell punters will see it as a car without full history..........A little bird did tell me that Meridien would have taken 34k for the car if my memory serves me right...

To be honest I prefer the ADG one as I am not a fan of the carbon rear spoiler on this one.

Ouf, I like the carbon - I think it breaks up the yellow really nicely.

It will be the Meriden one - its on Meridien plates and there's only one giallo 08 car officialy in the UK. £34k? I'm surprised by that, Meridien are known to be hard to 'chip', more so after the car has money taken off it. I think this started at £39,995 and had £2k knocked off reasonbly soonish.

Either way, I like it and would add to my collection (if I had one!)

Woody, it was either 34 or 35...I think the original price they were chancing their arms because of the miles but realised it had missed a few yearly services....

When i worked for Fiat, years back, it was not uncommon, to have cars, still in their delivery wax, registered for the road, upto 4 years, after they were built. Some of the cars, were canabilised, to fix other vehicles, so slowly, the cars interior, and exterior, would disappear!
Near where i lived, was a Rover dealer, that had a compound in a small industrial estate. The MK2 Metro had been out for around 8 years, yet stuck in the corner, was a unregistered MK1 model. Wonder what happened to that? A real timewarp.
I believe, still in the midlands, are huge storage areas of unregistered cars, from Ford, Vauxhall, and even Rover, that have never been registered. And remember the canceled Rover Maestro Diesels, destined for China, that went on sale, around 2-3 years after the car had officially been replaced.
