I/SM looked at taking this over but the problem was it was still going to be under the BIAMF Club so really they need to appoint someone internally it pay a company to do it and charge more than a fiver entrance.

I've always fancied taking my car to this, but hearing others' experiences about cars being scratched by careless members of the public means I'll give it a miss.

The issue is it was too popular last year and the streets were so full people could not fit up and down them and thkse who were nkt there for the cars tried to take short cuts around the rear and sides of cars...this along with the Maserati, Ferrari and Lambo being on the same street made things even more congested.

I have been to the show seven times without incident and previous to this the only issue I had known of was Rogers car been scratch in a car park disabled bay due to an over zealous invalid.

The show was originally in the docks area and to be honest should move back there as the space is greater and the mix of boats and cars would be far more interesting. Additionally more room for those who are caught up to pass without frustration.

I hope it continues otherwise the majority of shows/ meets will be in country estates with nothing else for families to do but the cars or London.

I'll be along - just in case its the last one.

Those thinking of staying over might want to check out the Brooks Guest house which has supported the event in previous years. They have 5 rocket caravans on the roof of the hotel for a unique view over Bristol and overlooking the streets we display on. I know most of you will destroy me for even mentioning the word "caravan" on this forum but might be a unique experience for some.

Just want to clarify that I was told to park in a disabled bay by the hotel staff and was not of my own volition!

My car was then key'd by a disabled badge holder who thought the space was his own private parking bay!

Cheers

woo hoo BIAMF stays for another year. IMO Paul should charge members of his group £5 and all other entrants £10 per car. Then those funds could be used for him to employ an enthusiast with time to arrange 2016's BIAMF.
