Best sounding car.

What do you think is the best sounding car ever made??? it can be road legal or not.

This one always sends a shiver down my spine.

Adam, I looked at the title and though....What ever it is the CSL is still my fav souning car..And there its ..... OK not standard still the same noise...I love it also...

you cant beat that straight six noise, the CSL snarls like an animal. Amazing sound really from a car which does not have a tuned exhaust unlike Ferrari's.

That does sound good Adam, although I'd say a F355 with a Capristo exhaust is pretty awesome too.

However, the only car that has made the hair on the back of my neck stand up, made my heart race and brought a tear to my eye all at the same time is when I first saw the "singing" f1 Renault at GFOS 5 years ago - truly epic!

Lots of great sounding cars out there and I think its really hard to pick one as there are so many different sounds each brilliant .....Mu CSL did make me smile everytime I pressed the loud peddle though.......Heard a GT S go past the other day and that made the hairs on the back of my neck tingle...

i think the AMG's sound good yes but also a little fake as they are "tuned" exhausts.

It's a big Go-Kart, I love it. Most the interesting roads are 40mph around Lyndhurst as it's in the National Park. However, go down the road to Ringwood and that's where the B3081 begins! If Carlsberg built roads......

I'm gonna take the Lotus to work today, I'll see if I can film an interesting part of the journey and post it up when I get to work to see what it sounds like.
(Got proper windows machines at this office so should struggle like I have with my DMS footage!)

I always liked the M3 straight 6 best. Out of the cars I have owned, the best sounding was a westfield crossflow with optional falme thrower. Out of the cars i have now the esprit is the worst sounding and lets the car down even with a sports exhaust on. The 3200 is vastly better now it has a larini on, my old 635 (1989) has a nice relaxed note, and my track slag alfa 155 2.016v doesnt half sound bad at full chat.
