My advice would be to go for a post Oct 05 or later and if budget allows go for an 06 Sport GT. Not a lot more, maybe 7k.

Early cars have many more issues.

And good service history is key - if it needs even simple standard items like brakes, tyres, clutch and a service, you'll be looking at well over £5k. I'd also advise a later car if possible. And red interiors are not popular on the QP, which will effect you come re-sale time. There's a reason why this car is cheap...

i think it looks lovely outside and in and love the red leather...so much better to me than the black you see....Miles not too high and a good price. Well worth a look and inspection.

Agree the one to get now is the Revised Sport GTS but you will pay a premium. Dicky has a nice one for sale as do Bowker.

I agree a later model makes more sense, especially a Sport GT, but these are substantially more expensive initially. The two you noted Contigo are £24950 and £34490 respectively... way over my budget unfortunately! I would need to sell a kidney or something.

As for the interior black leather is obviously a more sought after finish judging by various comments throughout the forum, but didn't think red looked out of place on a black car.

that does look nice :D
I must admit to liking a bright interior, especially on a black car.

probably in the minoroty, but I quite like the red interior, it seems to accentuate the mean look of the black exterior

That looks like a nice car. Well kept.

I'd go and see that but remember, pay for an independent inspection. It's worth the cash.

Gets my vote too, think it lifts a black car, stands out but still looks classy while different!
cheers wattie

are we twins?? red leather and near black alfa GT as daily driver (think it is called litino silver or something like that)

Mines plain old Nero. And sadly no Maser for a weekend driver. Yet. Although I've got my eye on one!
Just need to be paid for some work and all things being good, it'll be mine!

Sounds lovely Dave, and hopefully one day I will do just that.
Tbh I haven't seen many bad colour combos, although one I saw advertised had red and cream leather. Very strange, and I guess not to everyone's taste.
