just tried starting my car, no luck, should the battery and oil pressure lights go off before ignition?
Andrew, I think your on the right tracks. The trakers internal battery pack...packs up after about 5 years and then scavenges from the car battery, voila! Mine is under the rear parcel shelf, you simply unplug it.
All you have to do it open the arm rest, pull out the back panel and undo the 4 bolts and lift out. Then you can see under the parcel shelf. Its only a few obvious bolts to take the whole thing out, but you can work out which lead goes to the tracker and just unplug it out.
errrrrrrrr if the tracker battery only lasts for 5 years where do you get a new tracker battery from and who fits it and how much does it cost (Navtrack)
just some info if anyone is interested, the older version of tracker such as mine only draws power from the car battery whilst the engine is running so should not use any power whilst the car is sitting in the garage over winter. So say tracker technical department.
