In order to fund Project Exxy I have decided to sell my set of ball polished wheels.
I bought them used from Dick Lovett and have not used them since, having now decided I like the Mercury set I have on the car better anyway.
I have spent the last few months having one wheel re-ball polished and lacquered. The results are shown in the photographs below. The other three wheels would benefit from the same treatment and I can give the purchaser the relevant details, or alternatively they can of course be painted / powder-coated to your preference.
The other three wheels show some fine spider webbing where water has got under the lacquer. There is no marking on the face of the wheels, just on the sides of the spokes. They could simply be re-lacquered, but re-polishing is the best way to renovate them to perfect condition. They have been dry stored in their boxes throughout.
I am not at home at the moment, so will take better photo's of the other wheels when I get back, but in the meantime I've shown a 'screen shot' of the photo that DL used when selling the wheels originally.
I'm in no rush to sell, so sensible offers only please and I may reserve the right to put them on Ebay at a later time. Delivery to me was £40.00, so I guess this will be the approximate delivery cost.
PM me if you're interested...
Regards, Miles..
