Today was a good day, I had a pretty female admirer, well actually the Maserati did, but still counts doesn't it..!?? :blushed:

As I walked back to the car after paying for petrol a nice young lady smiled at me then told me "That's a lovely car - do you want to swap?" When I started it up she called out above the rumble "Nice engine sound!"... I was tempted to reply it does it for me as well... :lol2:

Ha I thought I was special P - didn't realise this was a common occurrence to all Maserati drivers.... :)

I had to rebuild the front of my car when a bunch of girls decided to all have their pictures taken sitting on the bonnet (not while I was present I hasten to add, which would have possibly made it worthwhile), one of the group had clearly got shares in Ginsters and my bumper got bent. It is amazing how women like Maserati's more than most other boy racer cars, its presumably the Italian flair thing?

One of my fellow students draped herself across the bonnet of mine when I first got it. *Totally* out of character for her as she's quite feminist.

Fortunately no damage.

All this women-across-the-bonnet stuff sounds like a jolly good reason for parking nose-in OR being on hand to make sure one can at least enjoy the spectacle of it all.

This is all true, I have a young female neighbour who never says hello to anyone, whilst washing my car rescently all I heard as she passed by was what a lovely car it's a Maserati I LOVE THEM THEIR SO BEAUTIFUL, never spoke to me since, so it melts even the unhappiest of hearts.
I worried about purchasing my 4200 because of the horror maintenance issues, it's been the nicest experience in motoring I have ever had, thanks fellows for the pre buying information. Sean.
