Took my 50 year old out today, just love it, amazing that my masa is a V8 like the River but totally different animals.

Just shows what Rover could do when they got it rite!
Both myself and my family have been Rover owners over the years albeit contemporary models. My late father had a 75 Connoisseur SE, which was in its way a very good car. I still think had the brand been manag d differently it coul have still been around today.

Love the Rover P5 it keeps floating on to my wish list. It is nice to see that these days they are getting the effort they deserve and people are prepared to spend the money they really need to be brought back to their best.

As a bit of a P5 anorak I think you'll find that the colour is Admiralty Blue. Zircon is lighter with a greenish tinge to it.

If you're referring to my car Arfa, it is actually Zircon Blue, the photo has been edited a bit that's all.

Anybody tempted to end the hibernation early? I'm soooo tempted to get this one back out there now the temps are rising...

My Favourite looking the original 911 which got spoilt in my opinion after the first 911 Turbo.
My father had one in the early 80's and he let me and my twin brother drive it to the south of France.

Lovely and sunny here yesterday so took the MCV for its first run of the year (well, other than when it went to Emblem for new tyres). As long as it's dry and sunny, get out there and enjoy it. We've had so much rain over the last two weeks that the last of the Christmas salt has long since been washed away.

I share the unit with some other guys. On the left there's a Merc SL R129 and a Jag XKR X100 (neither of which have moved in the 9 months I've been there!) and to the right a 90s Bentley Brooklands (I think). Nothing earth shattering.

Mine is a 1970 911T 2.2 LHD. The previous owner imported here and went with an Outlaw look inspired by one of Magnus Walker's cars. She is neither powerful, pristine nor a purist's car but she sounds great, drive's great and is tons of fun. I've slowly been trying to improve her, dealing with some of the shoddier interior details, a touch of rust and tarting up the lovely original Fuchs wheels. Once the matt silver wrap gets tatty, I plan to respray her black (the original colour) but I'll probably leave on the ducktail and bumper - I prefer them to the pure 911T look with all the chrome and bumper overriders - as it's not a matching numbers car and will never be worth a fortune. Pics as requested...

It was pretty damp out this morning so the GTS got the nod. Not really a hardship! LOL

She's awoken. 340 miles today drove like a dream. Still turns heads absolutely everywhere
