Good evening all,

I travelled over to Autoshield a couple of weeks ago for a new clutch and service. When you find a trustworthy supplier you will go the extra mile to get to them, and as I have 100% confidence in Marios and his team, my 'extra mile', involves several nights in hotels, 2 ferries and driving across 2 countries!

I left my QP into the workshop on Tuesday morning and returned on Wednesday afternoon to pick up my rejuvenated (and washed) car. This is the second clutch installed in nearly 80,000 miles (apart from a very early one with a component issue), and along with software update, the car feels just as good as it did from day one. A first class and unreproachable job.

While I always had confidence in Autoshield, it was further solidified two years, when I was convinced I needed a new clutch and made the pilgrimage to Manchester. I was fully prepared to shoulder the cost and would have asked no questions if I was told the clutch needed replacing. However, after a very short 20 minute diagnostics test, Marios told me there was minimal wear on the clutch and there was no need to replace. Remember, he had me booked in for a clutch change, so not only lost out on the parts, but also on labour charges.

That my friends, is comforting in a day and age of rip-off merchants and main dealer frigidness.

Many thanks to Marios and his team!

Pat.

It is a good thing to have trustworthy people in all walks of life , not sure I'd go to your level of trekking across Europe to get there though, the 30 miles to Blackburn is enough for me

I can only echo what you have already put. Im fortunate that autoshield are on my door step but even if they were miles away then i would still make the trip. Marios and his teams work is always spot on and they are always helpful and knowledgeable when it comes to advice and upgrades. I have found them always happy to help regardless of if its a small job or a service and beyond.

Couldn't agree more, I travel up from the Midlands. Will be there a week on Monday for my 56k service!

The reports of and dealings with Marios and Richard G have made me really regret leaving Cheshire for my work - I am even considering moving back purely in the interests of my Maserati's good health.
