Autocar 3200GT Article

Earlier today I was browsing through a copy of Autocar magazine from October and right at the back I came across a short article about the Maserati 3200GT.

It's part of the series that focuses on cars that either saved or shamed their company - obviously in this case it's about how the 3200GT saved the Maserati brand. As you don't see the 3200 in the automotive news everyday I thought I'd post a copy on here.

Cheers for that Steve........12 yrs on, its hard to get a handle on how this car was a make or break car for Maserati...perfect it may not have been...but a massive leap forward in getting them out of a downward spiral.

Ysed to have aload of Autocars stretching from 1979....sold them back in 2000.... Got £400 for them

autocar 3200 review and auto italia 3200 review and recently bought evo 3200 review...1st one ever....

Got the EVO one ... Remember it catching my eye on the shelve with the 3200 on the cover. Picked it up and then realised it was the Performance Car crew which I loved...Bought it ever since.

Yep ... They also put the 3200 up against a Jag ... It was a grey 3200 and looked the bolloacks against the Jag.

They picked the 3200 as the better car ... It was close though...

Hated the Jag XK, there was not one thing about that car i liked.

the xkr was alright but not the xk

no both horrid dem, looked horrid and the interior, oh dont get me started.

Think they look OK...Not for me but not a bad looker.

i especially hate the inside, the slab of side board wood on the dash, and that cheap gear lever, yuk.

i would not have one...not bad looking though....

dem i would rather have anthrax than own an old XK8 or XKR.
