Now on the shelves, the latest issue has a few Maserati morsels to relieve the festive fayre, including a brief review of the new QP, Osca MT4, Frua A6G/54, and 'Maserati in Monaco' (GTS/GC/Strad/yacht). It's a bit superficial in places, but still one of the better issues of late.

Yep, got mine in the post about 4weeks ago. They all have an odd way of dating mags. New one arrives 4th Jan.

Good articles on masers though.

My new Auto Italia just landed....Issue 204 Feb. Whats the point of that, why not call it Jan cos it aint even Jan yet. Anyway they have the first road test of th new QP.

Conclusion......Too big, too blingy, not sporty, interior feels flimsy, doors do not close with satisfying clunk, new auto box rarely goes above 6th cos all others are just overdrives to create good fuel figures, too quiet and worst of all it looks like a big AUDI. YUCK

Thats bad but not a suprise as we have been saying some of that on here...........

Hum that's not is it. Obviously aimed at the American and Chineseaatlets, basically they have sold out.

Lets hope it does sell though so it gives Maserati the sound footing to then introduce a luxury sports. If they do build this GranSport I think wexwill all be happy.

It's one car from the new range so lets hope it's a one off for...as you say...... the USA and China which will drive sales...

We this far down the chain forget its a business.....run so badly over many decades that they should not be in existance now......the 2nd hand buyers of Maseratis....especially those over 5 yrs old don't exist in their eyes......unless they are now 55 yrs old and worth a small fortune!

They need the QP to be a big hit.....pandering now to the panels of opinion makers....and not to their designers, stylists and engineers...all with that unique Italian passion and way of thinking

EVO just landed and guess what........more of the same on the QP.

Not as elegant, not as crisp,, you can tell straight away the engine is much more over the front wheels, no drama, more wind noise than exhaust noise, wheels feel too heavy for the suspension and on and on.............oh dearry, what have they done tomy reason for living.........not quite but you know what I mean.

Top Gear has just landed as well and more of the same.

More Infinity and Audi than Maserati and all Italianess has gone ..It is a saloon that wants to be a saloon....some accolade that is. Bo..ocks, bo..ocks and bo..ocks again.

Revision 1 of the new QP due when then, 6 months, or less...?????

They should bring out a QP"R", that would sell with Rangers Fans...???
