Am I alone in thinking the new Transit tail lights are flippin dangerous when the sun is on them you simply cannot see the brake lights coming on!

OLED technology very expensive...utterly pointless on car lights.....(but brilliant on my telly !).... is this really going to make it into production ?

Probably not - if Maserati couldn't even get the boomerang lights past the US regulations then this would probably be a tough sell

Reminds me of the BMW Gina - definitely interesting/out of the box thinking but not sure I'd want it on my car

Another bonkers idea, in fact I think tail lights have got worse recently some of the joint combination lights are really difficult to see in certain lights

I read it was US consumer feedback indicating their prefrence for a less radical rear that brought the change. There are plenty of US cars with less luminescent lights including Audi and VW.

I get the idea that an OLED could replace the rear lights on a car but the display programming they're using there is a bit of a gimmick. I too think it would be distracting but I'm sure they're just saying 'look what we can do'

Surely innovation and new ideas are a good thing, otherwise we'd still be walking and grunting at eachother.

If the 3200 rear lights were rejected from some countries, then i'm not sure what will happen with the Audi ones. But to be honest, i like them. Not for my car, but for my living room.
