Audi advice!

Is there anyone on here with any knowledge of the 2015-17 Audi A8??

Sadly the QP has to make way for something a little les rediculous... A new Diesel QP/Ghibli were on the cards, but while I love the looks, the drive is pretty dead compared to my QP (no surprise really!) and the technology inside is woefully lacking...

Ive narrowed down my shortlist to an A8 - 7series and S-Class are just a bit lardy looking, anything below these is just as expensive, but lack the build and refinement of the top level cars... so the A8 is best of a mediocre bunch! I do like the Gulia, but being a midrange car, its just a bit flimsy - plus, once you see the quadrifromagio, every other spec ook a bit weak!

so im trying to trying to get my head round the Audi options list!
all the cars in this revision have the funky looking LED lights, but do they all have the adaptive matrix? and the keys, are all of them 'audi advanced key' with all the keyless options? same with the MMI - ive seen audi advanced MMI mentioned but is that standard?

Make sure it has the optional indicator and get out the fast lane packs.

Joking aside, how many miles do you do per annum? The petrol Ghibli will do 30mpg easily and as petrol is cheaper, you need to be over 15k per annum to make up the difference.

I did look ath Ghiblis and new style QP's, I love the look of them, but they are edging out of my budget and just arnt quite as feature-rich as the german stuff...

I’ll say it again, petro Ghibli with the auto box are descent especially if you apply the S map. As one of our customers found, you will need to upgrade the brakes as the extra power warps them.

Are the A8 still FWD or AWD?

Had a few S Class MBs over the years as weekly rentals... great in the motorway but a tadd large for everyday use.
