It does look lovely, and something that would be fun to have a go in. I've yet to meet anyone that would recommend owning an Aston and using it as a semi-daily driver though. The ones I know that tried moved away disappointed. Lovely cars, lovely noise, poor overall experience though.

The outside is growing on me, but not the inside so much. I'm sure it's a lovely place to be, but in the same way that I think the GTS interior has aged amazingly well and feels pretty timeless, so I think the 'old' Vantage has a wonderful cabin. The new one just looks a bit too PlayStation. I may have a different view when I see one in the flesh, mind.

As for the thing which unites us all, a good sound: I like it very much. Sounds dirty.

It sounds good Adam especially with the optional Sports exhaust apparently.....and if not I'm sure Banford Rose will be along to give some more attitude.....And you know that attitude well buddy...

Right now, if the new one and mine were side by side and I could keep either, I'd keep mine. Overall I prefer the shape and I prefer the inside. I also love that mine has a raw, old-school feel about it and I'm intoxicated by the noise when you open the taps and head hard past 5k revs. It's the noise of a dozen Tom Jones' gargling hot coals in the prison shower while taking too long to find the soap. It's Thor with a vile temper after he drops his hammer on his toe, for the third time that day. It's all sors of twisted analogies and it's great.

Mind you, I've only read and seen a couple of reviews, so someone who actually knows what the h3ll they're talking about may have a different and altogether more valid opinion.

It's a sad day when Aston Martin has to rip off Fisker for their design. The Fisker is 4 door, all electric and does 400 miles on a charge. Henrik Fisker designed the original Vantage in 2005 before he went off on his electric dream. Seems that Aston still can't find a way past his designs.

Really? You will find plenty on an Aston forum (same as you would for Maserati here), many on their 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th or more Aston. I used a Vantage as a daily for 20K+ miles and then bought another Aston to replace it.

Completely disagree I used my v8 vantage as a daily and loved every minute of it, I definitely have a case of sellers remorse!

From what I've seen tend to agree with this....Lots of owners are loyal to the brand and have had more than one..Suppose as with all things they arent for everyone...Found the same with Lotus when I had mine...Very loyal to the brand and lots had a few over the years... and you get the same on here of course.......

That's almost uncanny. Though I prefer the Vantage's ar5e.

There is a lot of the Maser Gran Tourismo in those lines, especially the back 1/4 panel looking forward. The wheels and arches are just too big though! Reminds me of that 'Hotwheels' series from Matchbox. Still, have not seen one in the flesh yet, I'm sure they are better up close and personal.

I don't want to know what this sounds like... and I now don't want to sit in an Aston v12 as I'm afraid that this is what will come to mind...

Standard exhaust on a V12S is awesome but add the Bamford Rose upgrade as per Adams and it becomes GT12 epic.

It's probably best to imagine it aurally rather than visually. If that helps at all.

Been looking at most of the reviews of this car....As you may have realised I’m a fan......There is a video on Pistonheads and he ends by saying he doesn’t think there is any car at this price point it could compete with. Also that you would miss the old V8 engine over this new one. High praise for what is a very important car for Aston. Sounds like they have a winner here...Talking t Dick Lovett all first year allocation is sold as well. That will help the bank balance.

Read the review in EVO; not keen on the front at all...this and the Bond car just look odd.

As for that dashboard. .. did Kia or Hyundi design it? Sill buttons everywhere and as for those green highlights, please!
