As per the title, why do some cars have the ASR button and some have the MSP button on the centre console?

They both relate to the same thing do they not? So why the difference?

As Catman says. MSP is a (maserati) stability programme ASR is traction control - anti slip regulation.

Not sure which model you are interested in but 3200 had ASR, QPV and Granturismo on have MSP. First year of 4200/Spyder had ASR then it moved up to MSP.
