ASR and Shock Absorber warning lights on my 2008 Quattroporte come on randomly.

ASR and Shock absorber lights come on randomly when driving. They do go away when I stop and restart. Only thing we have done recently is a new wheel bearing with wiring on the rear. Any ideas?

Did you use a genuine new wheel bearing ?
Have you scanned the car ?

Aftermarket part off Ebay from United States. Problem did not start for a while after putting the wheel bearing on though. Not scanned yet as need to find out what local places are able to scan it as we are a long way from a dealership.

That's pretty standard for the fake bearings. They work for a bit and then start throwing lights.

I had similar issues recently that appear to have been fixed by a new (genuine) bearing

I would get ASR, MSP and ABS failure, plus Check Suspension. Started off random, then over time became every time I drove. Turning off and on again would temporarily clear but it always came back.

I fear your bearing will be the issue. Get it scanned
