OK what is going on with elite sport, well actually professional football- from what I can see team after team have C19 cases and players have to miss games and practise, now I see Celtic have some positive cases and they have just been on a training session in Dubai? Really WTF, is football that important we let these players wander around this and it appears other countries despite all the restrictions. It is the same here, top flight sport is exempt and not surprisingly GAA, Rugby and Football clubs all have increases in C19 infections but continue to play week in week out - beggars belief
Rant over
I can't believe this is the biggest news this morning......All bloody morning shoilBoris have gone for 7 mile bike ride ? Correct me if I am wrong but you are allowed to excercise once a day and surely this is what this was......Fecking press needs a pull through with a prickly Christmas tree.
No joke, we have seen them here in Holmfirth standing outside the co-op supermarket.
Couldn't stop laughing when I saw them!

And if you are going to do something so foolish, why TV screens, surely the traditional sandwich board would have been cheaper and just as effective.Second that... wonder how much that initiative is costing..
If you listen to the argument of Gary Lineaker yesterday about it, they were talking that Football would only take around a few thousand vaccines to be taken. The resultant cost saving in testing an other measures would pay back dividends which they can contribute to the NHS .And, I have been asking the same questions...….Schools closed, hospitality closed, grass routes football stopped..... but good old professional football still going...…...I know that these teams are all tested before matches but its also about perception...….Managers are shacking hands and in some cases hugging after matches...What message does this send out.....Its a disgrace and they should be setting an example...…..Add to this fans lining the streets to see the team go past on the bus to and from matches then this is serious...…..Also why as these idiots still spitting on the pitch as well.....Again its about perception….
All those fans on the weekend I think it was that lined the streets......Not sure but think it was Tottenham should have been fined surely....Bet they weren't...…….Makes my blood boil when we are staying in, just going to work and doing what we can to help and these fecking cock nostrils just don't seems to care......
