Apple car play help / and replacing whole unit

Hi All,

I’ve dragged the Stradale out of storage finally after weeks of rain delaying play.

Since I put it in I’ve had a change of phone.

The car has the upgrade to allow Car Play.

I’ve no idea how to get it working again. Weirdly the phone connects and brings up Waze, but the screen in the car shows the aux screen.

Any suggestions?

Whilst I’m here, thoughts on upgrading the whole sytem and getting rid of the existing screen and heating control unit? I’m not worried about aesthetics, but would like the newer functionality and ease of use.

I’ve seen the unit that’s similar to the new Granturismo which would suit.

Any experiences? Costs?

Does this have the SI conversion? You have to press and hold phone button on the steering wheel.

I bought the Acar unit and installed it on my Granturismo. Absolutely love it and can’t imagine the car without it anymore. Works seamlessly and really updates the interior whilst looking stock.
