Seen that before maybe when it was up for sale previously as remember the number plate. It can't have been that memorable as I clearly discounted it immediately before for no further consideration or thinking.

Ah, it is the weird Alfa style rear end converted abomination! Bag of spanners I think was concluded. Cheap for a reason I suspect.

I love the avorio interior, in combination with black carpet.... my favorite interior combo

Looks a well cared for car and love the interior colour - not a fan of the ugly rear lights. Based on my personal experience the current mileage could be about the point it is up for a second replacement of clutch, control arms etc.....

Given this sold at ACA for £8,370 on their online auction on the weekend of 7-8 November and is already appearing at SWVA, an auction house not known for strong prices, a month later either points to buyer's regret or that the ACA sale did not go through. Either way, and absent a PPI, this could be a disaster*.

The ACA listing included a video, which shows the car is is not a great condition cosmetically inside and there are some funny noises at the outset of the short drive.

Why has the gear lever gaiter been lifted? And what has been done to the wings?

As to the rear lights, if you cannot have boomerangs then these are not an offensive alternative to the 4200 rear lights which are bit uninspiring, and does not look to be too much work to revert back to OEM spec. The black/Avorio combination does look very nice on initial looks but the driver's seat needs work and the roof lining looks very dirty.

* Full disclosure, I bought a 4200 at ACA without a PPI or even attending the auction to look at the car first.

It was converted to be a 8c. Had alfa badges and wing vents chopped in/glued on. Also ran alfa wheels and had a modded front bumper

Nine SP 30's insurance will be expensive for the seller in the future if he still has a licence.

Yikes... those rear lights.... I had missed that !
The rear is not hurting my eyes, but I was never fond of the prelude / mondeo 'update' to the beloved boomerangs.
Could be an excellent donor car for anyone building a special that needs an epic V8. Can pay 5k today for power unit alone.
Does the engine fit in the Ultima kit car?
