Thought you may have been....It looks like mid 40's is where they start unless you want the 4.2 and they seem to be like rocking horse poo.

Would love one to Noor...Great sounding and looking.......Wonder how it will feel to drive against ou GT S......Now I could be wrong but I would imagine it would be easier to place in a bend as the GT has that ver long bonnet...Not that the QP is small but all the QP's I've driven have felt great in the bends and ver easy to drive fast..

Hi Andy,

Ive not driven any 4.7 QPs in anger, so im very interested in finding out, how it compares to the 4.7 GT.

My previous QP, i absolutely adored, but was very ******* the depreciation stakes, the GT should hold its value better longer term, hence why I cant understand why a 3 year old QP GTS are still so expensive. Could be due to the higher starting price, but cant justifying spending more money on a QP than a equivalent GTS

Think it's because the QP sold in tiny numbers post the 4.7 GranTurismo coming out.

When I ordered my GranTurismo in early 11 and then took delivery in late 11 I got the distinct impression that the business was practically 100% 4.7 GranTurismos by then with 4.2 GranTurismo and any QP only selling one or two each pa per dealer.

Long term values always seem to be - in descending order - convertibles, coupes and then saloons.

FWIW I can't see me really replacing my GranTurismo with a Ghibli but if the GranTurismo replacement really is only a 2+2 then I will just keep my GranTurismo as a low mileage car from year 5 upwards. Serious potential dropping of the ball from Maserati if they make the new GranTurismo that small.
