Just want to say thanks :) all the guys on this Forum have been very helpful and helping narrow down the car I want , but one last question for now you chaps are my best source of unbiased info !

Colours ? 80% seem to be black or dark grey ( which is fine and I will not rule out a car over this ) but my last 4 cars have been that colour would like something different if the opportunity come up !

Not often but I have seen Red, Yellow, White & Bright metallic blue etc . I know Maserati is the thinking man's Ferrari a bit more restrained and less in your face etc etc ....

But I am getting fed up of constantly cleaning Black or Dark cars :-(

So does it really have to be a dark Hue to retain its desirability and resale value ???

No wrong choice, buy what is right for you. As you are buying used then a less popular colour will be discounted so it will net off when you sell.

FWIW my 3200 and, now, GranTurismo were/are dark blue which is lovely and discrete but my 4200 was the red you have shown (Rosso Mondiale) and that is the only one of the three I ever had any hassle in.

Yes the dark blue does suit the GranTurismo ! when you say hassle ( about the red one ) do you mean Hassle selling it ?
amazing how many white or white pearl wrapped ones I have seen Which look awful to my eyes I would never buy a wrapped car , and I own a sign company !!
If I was being sensible I quite like the darker silver ones but they seem to be few are far between

not keen on the orange indicators in the headlights with the red but that is me being picky ...

Catman's right, white suits them well. Also blues. Have a look on ADG via the ad-link on the top right hand corner of the forum - they have a lovely blue one. Personally I think they look terrific in Grigio Alfieri and the lighter Grigio Touring as well. For some reason many don't like Touring but darken up the wheels from the usual silver and add a matching stripe. A car transformed. I'd avoid red. These are big cars for such a bright colour, but I love the GS and 4200 in red.

I think this red is superb, can you get clear indicators with the iridium lamps to avoid the 'fried egg' look?
I like the banana yellow too, but this might be an unpopular choice

You can get the orange stripe greyed out or made clear. Someone on here had it done - think it might be Felonious Crud. There's a thread somewhere.

As above...there isn't a bad colour for the GT...If it was me I would also go red, yellow or the brighter blues think it suits them........but what ever you go for it will look amazing.

One of my fav colours below....

I personally prefer the Whites, blues and Reds. Choose the right color for you but a nicely spec'd car is just as important when moving the car on.

That Yellow Strad looks like that of ex-Pat Aussie Blondie? Loving the Giallo.

Also the Rosso Mondiale & Blu Nettuno look superb.

Grigio Touring works well IMO as well. Understated elegance.
