Any chance of finding this part?

I'm missing the small gray bracket on the left headlight washer nozzle. Normally I see people loosing the cover only but I lost both. Ordered the cover thinking it'll come as a set but not. It's not listed as a sparepart and Stuart doesn't have it. Any ideas?

You could probably make a replacement if you cant find one anywhere.

You would need to make a mould in something like plaster of paris of the one you have. Do half at a time so you can make sure you can get the original part back out. Then once you have the mould you could fill will low melt temperature plastic. You can get it on ebay and amazon.

3d printing would be the best bet but it can be done by hand if necessary.

It may be possible to machine one at work but would need one to copy might not be exactly the same but would function ok . Would also need the mating parts to check for fit etc

Thanks for ideas. Went to local Alfa specialist, no help. 3D printer said the drawing would cost money, otherwise printing is cheap from plastic. For mould option, I don't have the left side. So far I had the cover glued to bumper and the related fuse removed. Don't drive at rain so was no problem. But now bumper being repainted so need a proper solution.

I can fashion all kinds of repairs with duck tape , epoxy resin, cable ties and WD40. Oh and dont forget the sticky back plastic.

To be fair making a plaster of paris mould is fairly easy.

Fibre fix looks to be some kind of pre mixed fibre glass tape. I pressume it starts to cure as soon as you break the seal on the tape. Im sure it has its uses. Could be usefull for bridging holes then fibre glass over the top. If it was around in the 80s many an Alfa Romeo would be full of the stuff. :)
