Er...the d!cks at the Maserati factory that launched the wibble-wobble 4200 Spyder in yellow!

The question was "who would buy a car that colour", not "who would sell a car that colour". However, I suppose it gave you a contrived out-of-context opportunity for another pointless dig at the spyder, which you took. Well done.

I believe it is probably on the original clutch - I mailed him to ask if there was any documentation to say the clutch had been changed, but his reply was simply "Clutch is operating perfectly along with the gearbox" so either it hasn't been changed, or he can't be bothered to check through the receipts - if there are any.
Servicing now on there as well - couple of 2 year gaps, but none in his ownership.
Still a good prive if you could nab it for 13K, but I expect you would need to budget 2-3K for a new clutch, which would make it more on a par with the current market it would seem, maybe 1000-1500 less or so?

If you really want a yellow 4200, there can't have been many produced and I've seen (and previously owned) worse cars than this example!

Sorry Benny - didn't mean to offend.

My point, possibly badly made, was that the factory launched it in yellow as they thought that colour best expressed the essence of the vehicle and most appealed to the type of person that would buy it. Certainly, a degree of inner confidence is needed to drive around in a yellow convertible!
