Just a lovely car.....Don't know much about the mechanics etc but I'm sure it would cost a bit to get to showroom

I note in Classic cars a top end version of this is around £23K........and for a Bora......43K.

Also in same edition they run off a 308 Vs a Merak.....as regards a "cheap" supercar...the 308 edged it....but when new, the 308 was 10K...and the Merak.....17K...!!!!

Its the pointy bits that put me off frank, for me its not an attractive car. although I guess it just reflects the style that car designers had in their heads back then, their punk phase.

That is not a bad car you know and at a very sensible price, shame about the Citroen dash. Never new the Merak had back seats....you learn something every day!

Wasn't the Bora a 2-seater and the Merak a 2+2?

i dont think either were a 2+2, the only difference between them i think is the Merak is a V6 and the Bora a V8.

12 years time and somthing like this will be keeping me busy and stop me chasing the students in short skirts when retired.

Note that the seller says he bought it with a friend to do up, yet the end of the posts list it as a classic spares sale...too much work/cost to get it right????
