....a double sized Big Mac. Why do this? Aren’t we fat enough already?

I’m sure some of my learned forum members will have other candidates.

Yes, I think lots of people are already morbidly obese. This will just increase, still makes the change from covid deaths

Burger King; if you buy a Whopper (or any burper for that matter), you can order extra bits with no limit so say an extra 9 patties and an extra 9 cheeses giving you well over a kilogram of cooked artery blocker!

It's a great product aimed at killing off the poorly educated lazy feckless layabouts who can't or do not know how to cook or work for a living... kind of Darwinisem on a more rapid timeline.

The quicker this pushes this group down the extinction road, the better the population will look as a whole.

Sounds like you're a real expert on this. :)

Interestingly (at least to me) when they introduced touchscreen ordering, average order value went up. It's hypothesised that people don't feel the shame ordering so much food from a screen as opposed to a human.

There's a quite boring Panorama programme on the iPlayer about Coke's plan to recycle an empty plastic bottle, for every one they sell. Because being single use containers, they are particularly wasteful and polluting. I believe our rubbish is now to be seen at the bottom of the Mariana Trench. 36,000 ft under water and the deepest known place in the oceans. Can't recall the figure exactly. But worldwide, Coke sells something like 750,000,000 plastic bottled products every year. Across all carbonated and non-carbonated products.

Maybe now that McDonald's has automated their ordering. They will send their under employed humans into the sewers to find the 'processed' Big Macs and recycle them into patties. Problem is. How will we know the difference
between the meat patty and the recycled patty.

When I’m feeling particularly greedy I find myself opting for one of these, only to instantly contract the McRegrets after finishing it ie. better judgment clouded by ravenous hunger and actually it’s ‘dry’ and doesn’t have enough secret sauce in the sauce to patty ratio.

The covid transmission rate probably went up at the same time they pushed up the use of touch screen ordering.

Pet hate of mine. I want to order at the screened off counter at the fast food chains. Having seen how often they actually clean the screens with anti bac its safer to order at the counter to avoid getting the extra portion of covid to go.
