£72 per wheel is very cheap. You could have a couple of wheels refurbed for the price of a tank of E5!
I think mine were £4-500 for all 4 when I had them done recently at the wheel specialist.
I feel you pain ....................having just done similar in the Bentley a month ago in a local car park with the lowest of kerbs whilst turning, didnt even noticed at the time as it was the lightest of touches ............and I couldnt even blame the missus as she hasn't driven for months , it can wait until a month or two , sods law i get it done and then end up dinking another or worse still the same one again lolEvening all
I've seen this thread had been quite for some time, so I thought I would resurrect it.
Went to Central London today, ended up in a narrow street with high curbs, and it happened.
So any updated recommendations.
I'm in Worcester park and that London Diamond close ish
Just had my 3200 AC wheels done there, they stored the car for 4 days and refurbed the wheels in the factory colour. £774 inc vat including two new tyres on the front and the extra charge for the custom colour paint. I would thoroughly recommend them.Lepsons in Kent are highly recommended. I had the Porsche Turbo twists done there by a wheel specialist who sent them to Lepsons.
When I used them, I dropped of the car on way to the London office & picked it up end of the day.Ok nothing bad so will chat with london diamond. As it's my everyday car, so cannot remove wheel and leave
Kent unfortunately for meAnother vote for Lepsons, used them several times over the last 10-15 years without complaint
If that’s Worcester park in Surrey I lived there for 12 years (the hollands) and still drove to lepsons to get work done! They will also pick up nowadays (they did for me in Horsham recently) if you can remove the wheel yourself and store the car. Worth a call to see if they’ll come to Worcester Park?Kent unfortunately for me
I used him, really nice chap. Dropped the GS off and went to Mayfair for the day then picked up on the way home excellent quality & great value for London.Good morning all, thought I would give an update.
I finally went to London Alloy. The owner was Lyming, nice chap.
Upon arriving at the place, I did say to Lyming at the time, if I had not been in an email conversation with himself, upon arriving and seeing the establishment and surrounding units, I would of turned the car around and be gone.
He assured me that he had been trading these for years and duly showed me some of the vehicles he was prepping, Ferrari, Aston, Bentley.
He took on my one wheel and I left the car with him. I think he's done a grand job, but he had trouble with colour matching the wheel which incurred an extra day with him, but no dramas.
Before and after pictures enclosed.
I've left it a week before washing the wheel and leaving feedback in here. So fingers crossed for long term satisfaction
£150 for one wheel
