Alfa Brera fuel pump

Where would the best place be to get a fuel pump for my Brera.......As it's a 2.5 diesel 2006 they are not easy to come by unless you pay Alfa £1500....******** to that. Sent emails to a few specialists but not turned anything up yet.

Ah...no not the one....That’s the in tank fuel pump which supplies the high pressure pump with 4bar of fuel. The pump we’re after is the
high pressure pump located on the engine driven by the timing belt.

There are a couple of used ones on ebay for £200 ish.

Can it not be refurbished?

Seems there is a reconditioning price of £350 or new its £680 and showing UK Stock via any Alfa Dealer.

...and remember this engine was shared around the GM Saab and Vauxhall/Opel models.

Thanks Matt, no apparently it can't be refurbished but have found one for £179 so result. MOT then next week and ready to go....Thanks for you help mate.
