Addiction

Since buying the QP IV last year I keep getting tempted by either a 3200 or 4200 but have always managed to resist.

Unfortunately I now seem to have acquired a 4200 Spyder, thanks Matt, so the addiction seems to have got hold

Good man. I've driven your car and was really quite impressed with it and I reckon you will be too. Have fun but remember, if the roofs up, the storm outside had better have a name!

Rides in the SZ are free to petrol heads, it is a surprising car not that quick but handles like nothing else - often pushes much faster machines through the corners on track days. (PS I have 1 116 Giulietta as well but only an original 1.8)

Er NO, the SZ is staying - the only time we will be split up is when I die and even then I am considering taking it with me :)

I don't want to buy it, I just want a little go ;)

My 116 has mostly SZ stuff underneath. Is yours still roadworthy? They mush be astonishingly rare these days

Yep still roadworthy and with no rust, lovely little car no power but a joy to drive when you learn just to carry speed through the corners.

SZ is 116 based but very little of the 116 remains, it is surprising how different they are from the 75 which they were based on.

Oh that's fantastic. Would love to see some photos. If you've not seen mine:

My dad had another one, but it dissolved.

Did you ever see the orange 116 pickup? It was once on ebay, if I recall. Someone actually asked if it had any rust. A 116 that had been angle ground into a pickup. Of *course* it had rust ;)
