I will have to disagree with you on that one Adam, the Crapi was, and still is, a classic. Granted, the lesser (Laser type) models were a bit naff but the 2.8i was a good looking car and fast for the time. However, nowadays the 2.8i would get it's ar5e kicked by a BM 320D.

Adam, get out...A true classic and a great looking car.............A 2.8i was a brilliant car that lots aspired to back in the day...........It was the British Mustang but handled better.......

No accounting for taste Adam , the RS was a relatively good performer but unfortunately came from thta not so good designer Carlos Fantango , As benny says the Capri was iconic of its time (but not my bag ) never yet owned a Ford other than a van but i always fancied these

Only ever actually owned one... 1981-2 a bright orange MKIII Cortina with more rust than paint paid £40 for it as an MOT failure (bent half shaft) replaced the rear axle and drove it about 15k sold it for £140.... Only regret was not saving the number plate VMN8M
