H R Owen can they do it again, had a bad start to the day , rang Royal Sun Alliance claims dept, they were adamant that i had to use Autoglass regardless of the fact they screwed up the repait last time , their Company Policy means that to use anyone else for the repair ie a specialist means that you can go ahead but you have to cover all costs yourself submit the claim and they will then consider it they dont guarantee to pay it if they do OK it then it takes 10-12 weeks to recieve your layout diabolical i think so came off the phone dejected , Half an hout later Matt from Aplan rang , obviously he had a call from Sun Alliance he took all the details re H R Owen doing the replacement and sorted it with RSA WIN WIN situation now just waitng for it to be 100% confirmed and the book in day


Moral of this episode is dont be fobbed off by RSA if you create enough you should win through

Sorry to hear of the glass problems recently...shame you missed us at Williams F1 factory...it was dull..................no sorry it was a great day and you would haved loved it!

All insurance companies will try it on wanting you to use one of their nominated repairers. You pay insurance and you are entitled to have the car repaired by a main dealer. This is especially true in respect of a Maserati, Ferrari or similar supercar.

No way would I allow my car to be repaired by one of these cowboy repairers.

As for having to lay out the cost of the repair and to then submit for consideration is absolute ********. Once again this is just trying to pressure you into accepting pne of their repairers. YOU ARE ENTITLED TO HAVE YOUR CAR REPAIRED BY MASERATI........Be tough about it and threaten them with the ombudsman, but first of all speak to the head of department rather than some trumped up little Hitler who does not have the authorisation. Perhaps try talking to Customer Services. Don't let them bully you.
