And anyone else with a 4200.

Don't clear the windscreen with the wipers if the drivers side window is open. Gawd knows how many times I've done that and got drenched!

I think most cars are designed this way nowadays, gone have the old drip gutters and down pipes, we just have sleek lines now and put up with getting wet through..!!

Hopefully there will be a nanotech coating available in the near future which should restrict the need for wipers to extreme conditions if needed at all. Its already used on some smart phones etc.
Not sure if it would help to keep the rain off the cigar though.

Tried that on the spyder. All it does is make the water come over the top of the screen faster!

Well this is because it has no gutters like a 'normal' car...it ruins the lines.

Happy to take a soaking for the sake of vanity.

Yes I have that coating on the 3200AC, it works so well that most of the time you don't need wipers at all, but the water still comes off the car and usually through the darned open window, I must admit most of it goes over the top of the car though, it's amazing stuff.
I will put it on the 4200 soon, but there is some sort of film on that I have to get off first.
Cheers
