I know this is'nt strictly Maserati .... but as some of you may know, I own a pretty smart Reliant Scimitar GT fitted with a non standard Ford 5Ltr V8. However, a good friend of mine has also a Scimitar GT with a 5Ltr in it.... but he's added a supercharger :as002:.
And Ive just found out that he's prepared to sell it to me.... so I just wanted to ask all you nice boys and girls (as unbiased witnesses), what you think of the car! I ask, because I dont bother with the Scimitar owners club, as there are far too many "numb nuts", that look at cars like these with horror, due to it's modifications..... w***ker's.
Anyway, heres a couple of pics of the car Im thinking of buying..... lets have your opinions guys...

Thats what we used to call hairy.
its such a small car for a large engine. what has been done to the brakes & suspension to cope with the extra power.

That looks in amazing condition. I love it apart from the wheels as they look too madern for the car...other than that go for it..bet its a scary ride..

Hi Dunc, I know nothing about these cars so I can't offer an opinion there, so with that said.. I personally don't like the wheels, they don't suite the car. A set of 'classic' wheels to keep the appearance relatively anonymous but with a monster under the bonnet! Yummy. Sort of quiet is the new loud.

Do you want it? Sounds like you do.

At least 450bhp Rob..... brembo brakes and TVR hubs in place of the original Reliant jobs

Do I want it !!!! Do bears s*it in the woods !! I'll admit in the pics, the wheels do look a tad modern.... but like lots of things, when you see it for real... things look much better, and I think thats the case here with those wheels
