Not sure if it's the same car but if it's the one that's been on ebay, It's a cat D, and something fishy as its been on eBay 3 times.

Don't know Richard, It is curious that it has a different number plate on the front than the back = the frone one is just wrong & the back one doessn't come back with anything on a reg check to say cat D but then it doesn't have any other recoreded info, just the model, age and colour all ok...

This one has been on a thread over the last month as remember we commented on the wheels....Don't think it's the cat car..Isn't that the green one...?

He is a dealer. Can tell by the wording. Also, not sure, but i suspect, it was on a different reg, as i have seen that car before, somewhere.

Definitely not the Cat D car that's been on Ebay 4 times, that was a green GT, 1999 V plate (still there, currently on a buy it now of just under £10k).

This one has been for sale in various places for a while, looks ok but i think the price is optimistic, I think series 1a cars are the least desirable Ghiblis and are not worth much more than about £7-8k unless very low miles and mint. Don't think the chav wheels help with this one, and the different plates front and rear look a bit dodgy. Other than that it looks quite a nice example.

I was amused by the last paragraph of his advert which starts "...its muscular styling...", Slades Garage had a Ghibli for sale a while ago with exactly the same wording in the advert, someone has been cutting and pasting! (it doesn't make a great deal of sense actually, a rather pointless paragraph)

I think it was on at something like £22995 initially, then it dropped to £19995 and then £17995. It has now sold so I guess the purchaser must have paid something close to that. Looked like a very nice car but it had a cracked driver's side headlight and had 46k miles so approaching a nice big expensive cam chain service, I guess these things could have been negotiated but unless the new owner shows up we'll never know.

I used the text check app on my phone (free) and it couldn't find the reg on the front plate that 's when I rechecked and spotted it! I do find that particularly worrying though not that uncommon..

Looks quite nice for anyone brave enough to take it on. I would still opt for an early 4200. It may initially cost a couple of thousand more but at least it is Ferrari technology
