There is a thread on PH on that 612, terrible to say the least and as for the Porsche and Lambo, well that is foul, someone has a red/yellow interior combo on a 550 Barchetta in Australia.

Its a shame about the 612 as its a manual.....Pretty rare.....If you got rid of the black roof could you live with the 2 tone interior...?...

No Andy, besides, the 612 is better suited to an F1, hence why most have it.

Surely that depends on the driver? It's like saying the DB9 is better suited to auto, only in the view of the old farts who ordered 90% of them with auto boxes ;) Younger guys tend towards the Vantage hence most are full manual.

Depends more on the demographic of the drivers, it you had £200k for a 612, you were probably an older sort and probably wanted an easier life, hence the F1 system being the ideal for you, plus you get to live in a fantasy world of thinking you're Michael Schumacher.... If owned by a younger guy (which also explains the colour scheme a little!) then you might enjoy the interaction of the clutch pedal and a the manual gearknob. A manual Scag must be like driving a modern day 365 Daytona, lovely.

No doubt F1 is faster, easier to use and let's face it better in every measurable way. But I enjoy driving in the traditional sense, and that means 3 pedals.

Could partially re-trim that Scag and have a beauty of a 2+2 tourer...

Suppose it does depend on the driver, most will say the DB9 is better suited to an auto, but you obviously prefer the manual Lewis. I was making that point based on what the customers ordering a 612 would want, as an everyday car which the 612 is designed to be, i think a lot would prefer the auto option.

Agree with Lewis...I would have to hunt down a DB9 with manual....As I understand it the Touchtronic thing is not that good on early cars.

Despite being a four seater Ferrari the Scag is still an awesome looking car in the right colour combination. Black with tan leather would look fabulous
