Chris,
That sounds pretty typical when you are pushing it on hills etc., closer to mine than Phil's 20+mpg.!

Phil,
So you are saying get an ECU Remap done, this will increase mpg..?? Does it also give more BHP and performance, or is there a compromise..??
Cheers

Rob there are mixed feelings on the DMS experience but I notice a difference on my car which had done 90,000 miles when done and is well used. It did the first 60k in It's first 3 years. I'm in a lucky position being a motor engineer with 30 plus years in the game because my biggest bill in my ownership has been the DMS upgrade. Phil.

As you know Phil I am still very happy with my DMS remap. I am convinced that it has sharpened my Spyder, I'm not sure if my mpg is better but I did once drive the 100 miles from Bristol to Farnborough at 55 mph and it actually showed 25mpg at one point !!!

I too have tried staying in 2nd gear at 55mph with the window down. Noise is immense and a great feel of speed. Didn't bother checking the mpg though. Glad your still enjoying your car mate.

The recession finally hits supercar owners as we discuss the benefits of restrained driving and the increase in mpg!
Yee Gods! whatever next - plastic seats instead of leather?

Personally - I have been a bit lethargic at times too - its a shame the 3200 does not rev like the GSX-R, 12000rpm would sound awesome!

Sadly half of the 'leather' is plastic...just the faces are real cow.
