It that because he has put 3200 whells on her Nikos.....Must say I rather like the 3200 wheels more so than the first 4200 wheel........

Didn't the early 4200's come with the same wheel as the 3200, then changed to the newer wheel later, around 2003/4..?? I like the multispoke 3200 wheel, I must admit. Never heard of those back boxes..?? Reasonable mileage for the year..?? I have never managed to get anywhere near 20mpg in my 4200..??

They never had the 3200 wheels but did get the 3200 AC wheels on the first 4200. The 3200 only ever had the wheels pictured on the 4200 above...it was only the AC that had the same wheels as a 4200...

Yes looking closer those are not AC wheels, which were on the early 4200 but a different colour. I wonder why they have been changed, pinched perhaps..??

Got 19.8 mpg in mine this afternoon on the M5 coming from Somerset to Gloucester

No, he was in a diesel mini doing 140 all the way in 4th gear

Rob my car is only ever in sport mode and I drive hard through the gears. Average speed on display was 68. Whilst driving speedo was 85 to 90 mph.

OK mate, I don't know how you are doing it, but keep doing it, I can only ever seem to get around 16.5/17mpg from mine, no matter how I drive it. I am usually at full revs through all the gears mind you, I just love the noise..!!

Got 19.8 mpg again on the trip back. Sincere the DMS ecu remapping mine is better on long runs than before.

So you are saying get an ECU Remap done, this will increase mpg..?? Does it also give more BHP and performance, or is there a compromise..??

2149.7 miles, average 14.4 mpg. That's the last 9 days, and I wasn't being gentle for most of it...lots of climbing mountain passes and pushing down the other side. Think I need to check my brakes soon!
