4200 Wheel nut nightmares

Hi

me again :)

So I wanted to replace the wheel nuts on my 4200 as they were looking a little tired, ordered a shiny new set of the Hills ones from Super performance website, went to get them fitted when I changed the front tyres out today and they dont fit :( The fitter showed me and because Ive non standard alloys the heads on the new bolts (22mm I think he said?) are too big to get the tool on in the holes, and could only be done finger tight - he's saying something about needing 19mm heads instead?

Does anyone know please where / how I can get the correct ones, as it seemed a bit of a minefield when i was looking to get these originally even without realising there was a problem with the head sizes? Im presuming I need the same dimensions otherwise, but with smaller (19mm?) heads on them?

Lastly, Ive opened these up so cant return them, but figure Ill get a GS or similar at some point - will these fit that do you think? (Seems a shame to bin £250 really)

Thanks
Si

Have a chat with Sprogs on here - he can make you a custom set of stainless bolts with whatever dimensions you want. Should be less than £250 too!

Speak to Stuart at Sprogs (07968 489418) and ask him about the set he made for me (Ben). My wheels are non-standard and he made me a set of standard threads with 17mm heads. They cost £150 +£20 p&p and are fantastic quality. The ones you have should fit a GS wheel.

Simon give Demon Tweeks a call as they keep wheel bolts on the shelf mate if you want some next day.

Personally, if it's only for aesthetics I would go for stainless steel.

Standard wheels take the 22mm bolts, so you should be able to either use them on a GS or sell them on to someone here and get a few quid back.

Standard bolts with non standard wheels :(

Your only choice is to get a set of bolts made with 19mm heads. Sprogs will make you a set of Stainless ones

Mine have 17mm heads and work perfectly. I'm not sure 19mm heads will give you enough clearance between the socket and the wheel pocket.

Thanks again for all your help,
