Hi guys
I’m in a whole world of pain with my 4200. Does anyone have a second hand water pump for a RHD 4200cc
The shaft of mine has rotted out

Been there and got the Tee shirt.
Back in 2014 Dick Lovetts in Swindon showed me when I ordered mine that the factory had 1500 so I think more cars than we think have suffered this fate.
Matt @conaero do you still have one from the hydrolocked engine ?

Check ferrari 430 ones, pretty sure essentially same pumps but different oil pressure relief valve setting
Is one on eBay for not a lot

F430 pump assemblies are still available but I need to know if they are interchangeable???
GP79 thinks they may be but for the pressure relief valve
Anyone got any more knowledge on this??

I might have one becoming available as I've bought a low kilometer engine including water pump to be fitted when my mechanic can schedule my job.
The engine and torque tube are already at his workshop. It's in Australia though, so freight might be a bit much.

As an ongoing solution to the oil/water pump issue, as things are now discontinued can we rebuild with the F430 oil pump repair kit and the uprated water pump shaft from Hill engineering?

Would be interested to know if these items work for the Maserati unit which looks almost identical?
