V5 errors...

If my memory serves me right was this not up for sale about two years ago at Dick Lovett Swindon?

Gosh, that a huge amount of cash for an old 05 4200GT that could and would give trouble any minute!

Even though mine has 20,000 more miles (but still low at 25,000) this is good news value wise. Mine is pretty much in perfect nick, and has better spec seats with navy piping that this one doesn't have.

Do like the front and rear chrome grills. Not a fan of the chrome door handles and front wing vents though - far too fussy and ruins the beautiful lines.

SO if the same one I wonder if it sold...If it did its not completed any miles in 3 months......Lovely car but still too much money low miles or not. Sure someone wanting the best 4200 will buy it......ME thats a Gransport or close to GT money..

Thanks Peter, mine are up for a refurb so just curious (will stay as is). Hard to value such a low mileage car but as stated for a nearly new Maserati someone may well see it as worth the money

Looks like it, they don't have the car for another week.

A manual Spyder from 2005 must be quite rare though. Someone will be happy to spend money on it.

agree re rarity but honestly, would you prefer to buy a garage queen or a car that has been "sensibly" used/driven?

With my record, definitely believe in healthy use! Not sure about the sensible part.

But someone will see it as shiny, rare and low miles and spend the next 9 years polishing it and taking it out to a village pub on sunny Sundays, for them it's perfect.
