Is this what put you off the GS?Kind of how I feel about the GS surf boards Im afraid..
I like them a lot but they do go just beyond that level of purity. Good bit of aggression though.

Its not that difficult a decision if you know you want a manual car...!Is this what put you off the GS?

I'd include the GS/4200 facelift bumpers in the discussion as the front is a bit too "squared off" and the back a little too busy.Kind of how I feel about the GS surf boards Im afraid...
The prices put me off Gransports! Plus the surf boards and more importantly the cutoff in the console between the info centre and the handbrake - the 4200 has a purity of line inside that the Gransport sadly doesn't. Then the 3200 dials for the air con controls - they look too 90's for a car that is ten years younger. But when you've hit a design peak (E type, 4200, even Alfa 156) any facelift / model refresh is going to be a step back... I do understand the driving appeal though, having driven both.Is this what put you off the GS?

My thoughts exactly! Why spoil something so beautiful?
When Giorgetto Giugiaro styled the range, this was never envisaged, nor would it be endorsed by anyone with petrol in their veins.
