Hi Miles,
Yes it was for a while, he has dropped the price by a grand, I told him he would never get £19.5K. I changed my mind to a late 2004 onwards, or nothing. I don't like the idea of the scuttle shake and the car had other issues present before the updates came in. It's really a 2002 car, bar a few days and I think £18.5K is still way too much. I have changed to hunting for a good 4200 I think, prices are a bit more sensible, unfortunately loads of dogs around too. Prices are high for what's on offer, result is loads of cars just sit there and just don't sell, month after month after month, you would think sellers would get the message???
Cheers

Usual summer hike Robert, give it a month or two and they'll be dropping. Shame about that Spyder. Nice colour combination.

Colour is good and I was interested, until I spoke to a few people and learnt about the issues. The seller was not interested in an offer, confident he would easily get £19.5K for the car, silly man. I might just wait and offer him a really low price and the rag the ar5e of it like Benny, what do you think???

Liking the sound of that Robert! :D Hope there's a deal to be done. You never know, sometimes the best of a car is found in it's limitations. I have my eye on a little something that will make you weep with laughter and derision, but I can't wait to get my hands on it! Watch this space...........

I'd love to see Miles in one of those, very different??

Me too , but to be fair , to be seen driving a Triumph Herald when your other car is a Maserati aint half bad and acceptable , but to be driving a Triumph Herald when your other car is a Triumph Acclaim , well hmmm there's no accounting for bad taste

Absolutely!! I am sort of having the same issues now. I bought the AC for my good lady because she loved them, now I'm looking for a car she is trying to put me off Maserati, so I don't get something better, can you believe it??? These girls have some good ideas, but not when it comes to our cars, they can get quite sneaky really???

No Frank, I know what to expect and just ignore it, I will get the best I can, even if I have to secretly spend a few shillings on improvements. My testosterone is very much intact mate!!!:rofl5:

Yeah ive been stressing and re-iterating to Kaz on the importance of the air scarf , something which Maserati foolishly seem to have omitted from there options list , she's now under the impression thats she one up on me and no matter how cold it gets as a Maserati driver , that i'll never have a warm neck and be subject to aches and pains in the winter months............... thats good then , she can put the bins out each night come october time
